Credits
Credits represent managed-service allowance. Customer-facing tools may show allocations, top-ups, promotional adjustments, usage and remaining balance as an auditable history.
Cached page views
Showing an already-cached feed to a website visitor does not automatically consume a Google request. Credits track managed operations such as refreshes rather than ordinary page views.
